Surgery fund for Ana: hip replacement surgery in București
A scheduled hip replacement surgery in September is out of reach without help covering $1,650 of the cost.

Ana was diagnosed with a hernia that has become strangulated in July. The surgeon at Saint Elizabeth Hospital recommended hip replacement surgery, and She is scheduled for September. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,050, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $1,650 short.
my mother has been in and out of Saint Elizabeth Hospital since July. The doctors say a hernia that has become strangulated will get worse without hip replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $2,050 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Ana struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 5 weeks. During that time Ana won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $1,650 goes:
• Travel and lodging for the family: $120
• Physiotherapy sessions: $300
• Post-operative medication: $60
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $210
• Hospital stay (5 nights): $960
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Hang in there, Vasile. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
