After an aortic valve defect, Alexandra was cleared for spinal decompression surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Alexandra was diagnosed with an aortic valve defect in June. The surgeon at Toledo University Hospital recommended spinal decompression surgery, and She is scheduled for August. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $6,250, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $4,300 short.
my daughter has been in and out of Toledo University Hospital since June. The doctors say an aortic valve defect will get worse without spinal decompression surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $6,250 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Alexandra struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 7 weeks. During that time Alexandra won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing.
