Surgery fund for Alejandra: hip replacement surgery in La Plata
Alejandra needs hip replacement surgery at Saint Elizabeth Hospital and the family is $1,550 short of the hospital's estimate.

Alejandra was diagnosed with a herniated spinal disc in July. The surgeon at Saint Elizabeth Hospital recommended hip replacement surgery, and She is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,600, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $1,550 short.
my daughter has been in and out of Saint Elizabeth Hospital since July. The doctors say a herniated spinal disc will get worse without hip replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $2,600 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Alejandra struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 3 weeks. During that time Alejandra won't be able to lift anything heavy, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $1,550 goes:
• Hospital stay (2 nights): $780
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $80
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $690
Every share and every dollar helps.

praying for you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of La Plata.
stay strong, Leonardo. Looking forward to the next update. I went through something like this 9 years ago and strangers helped me out
