A scheduled hip replacement surgery in February is out of reach without help covering $1,000 of the cost.

Ajay was diagnosed with a thyroid nodule that needs removal in November. The surgeon at Amritsar Orthopedic Institute recommended hip replacement surgery, and He is scheduled for February. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,350, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $1,000 short.
my father has been in and out of Amritsar Orthopedic Institute since November. The doctors say a thyroid nodule that needs removal will get worse without hip replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,350 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Ajay struggles with daily life and can't walk without help. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 7 weeks. During that time Ajay won't be able to walk without help, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Travel and lodging for the family: $30
• Hospital stay (2 nights): $220
• Physiotherapy sessions: $130
• Post-operative medication: $35
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $585

Hope things get better soon, Usha. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Put this on a community board in Quezon City this morning. Blessings
you're not alone, Usha. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. All the best.
