Surabaya volcanic eruption relief - the Harbor settlement
Neighbors in the Harbor settlement are rebuilding after the volcanic eruption; every contribution goes to materials and supplies.

The volcanic eruption hit the Harbor settlement on 10 August. My home was one of 40 damaged, and 9 families are still in temporary shelter at the sports club.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $900 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $420
• Clean water and purification supplies: $95
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $155
• Food parcels for displaced families: $115
• Tools and labor for repairs: $115
With deep gratitude,
Agus

stay strong. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. It's not much but it's yours.
