Sunny's bloat: help with the vet bill

Sunny is my rescue greyhound of eleven years. On 21 April we rushed to the Bahir Dar Emergency Vet Clinic with bloat. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $450. They have stabilized Sunny, but the treatment can't wait beyond August. Sunny is more than a pet - Sunny is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $30 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Bahir Dar Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
