Sumon's final semester of a nursing degree in London
Sumon has worked and saved for five years to study a nursing degree; a $3,450 gap now stands between him and graduation.

Sumon is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a nursing degree at London Polytechnic, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,450.
The registrar has said Sumon can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Sumon has a 3.6 average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Sumon would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Sumon isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.

• Final term tuition: $1,350
• Exam and lab fees: $95
• Textbooks and materials: $105
