Subramanian received an eviction notice - help us catch up on rent
After a cut in working hours, Subramanian is 4 months behind on rent and has a 10-day notice to quit from the landlord.

After a sudden layoff at the hotel, Subramanian fell 4 months behind on rent. Last Wednesday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $200.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by September, the family must leave.
There are 2 children at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Subramanian has started working two part-time jobs, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $200 goes:
• First month of rent as a buffer: $120
• Utilities in arrears: $30
• Late fees and court costs: $50
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Don't give up. Thinking of Aurangabad.
