Stop the eviction: 5 months of rent for Shaista's family in Sukkur
After the loss of a second income, Shaista is 5 months behind on rent and has a final eviction notice from the landlord.

Following a long illness in the family, I fell 5 months behind on rent. Last Sunday a final eviction notice was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $550.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by December, we must leave.
I have a toddler and a baby at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working extra hours at a market stall, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $550 goes:
• Rent arrears (5 months): $400
• Late fees and court costs: $15
• Utilities in arrears: $10
• First month of rent as a buffer: $125
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Shaista
Rent arrears (5 months) is $400 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Thanks, that means a lot.
Hope it all works out. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Blessings.
Praying for you, Shaista. This could happen to any of us. I'm in farming myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
Wishing you peace. Looking forward to the next update. All the best.
Hope you get there. My neighbor in Khulna donated after I showed her your page. Take care.
Hope you get there. After 7 years in accounting I know how hard it is to ask for anything. God bless.
