Stop the eviction: 5 months of rent for Gabriella's family in Rome
A termination letter arrived last week. Gabriella needs $1,650 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Rome.

Following a long illness in the family, I fell 5 months behind on rent. Last Friday a termination letter was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $1,650.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by June, we must leave.
I have two young children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working extra hours at a market stall, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $1,650 goes:
• Utilities in arrears: $110
• Rent arrears (5 months): $1,300
• Late fees and court costs: $240
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

rooting for you, Gabriella. It takes guts to ask. Well done. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
