Stop the eviction: 3 months of rent for Dennis's family in Cape Coast
A car accident left Dennis short on rent for 3 months; help us stay in our home.

When the bakery closed in December, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Wednesday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $450.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by April, we must leave.
I have three school-aged children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working two part-time jobs, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $450 goes:
• Rent arrears (3 months): $290
• Late fees and court costs: $25
• Utilities in arrears: $35
• First month of rent as a buffer: $100
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Wishing you the best. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Greetings from Pelotas
I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My neighbor in Pune donated after I showed her your page
You're not alone, Dennis. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My husband and I read this together.
