Stop the eviction: 3 months of rent for Aaron's family in Cardiff
After a sudden layoff, Aaron is 3 months behind on rent and has a final eviction notice from the landlord.

When the hotel closed in July, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Tuesday a final eviction notice was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $2,850.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by October, we must leave.
I have two young children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working extra hours at a market stall, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $2,850 goes:
• Late fees and court costs: $320
• Rent arrears (3 months): $2,350
• Utilities in arrears: $180
With deep gratitude,
Aaron

Thanks for sharing this, Aaron. Shared this with my family. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Lucknow.
Gave what I could, wish it was more. Love from Thrissur.
hope things get better soon. Hope this works out for you. Sent it to 38 people at work. God bless
Stay strong, Aaron. Hope this works out for you. Blessings
Keep going, Aaron. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Cardiff.
