Shahid lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at the Lahore Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $750. His current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 6 weeks. With the right equipment Shahid could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $750 goes: • Delivery and set-up: $10 • stair-climbing aid: $680 • Fitting and training sessions: $60 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
