Stop the eviction: 2 months of rent for Rashid's family in Abbottabad
A car accident left Rashid short on rent for 2 months; help us stay in our home.

When my hours were cut in half in February, I fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Sunday a court summons for non-payment was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $550.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by June, we must leave.
I've 2 children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working night deliveries, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $550 goes:
• Rent arrears (2 months): $360
• Late fees and court costs: $25
• Utilities in arrears: $35
• First month of rent as a buffer: $130
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
