After a car accident that kept me from work for 5 weeks, I fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Saturday a court summons for non-payment was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $2,600.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by April, we must leave.
