Start-up fund for Zoey: reopening a street-food cart after the demolition of the market
A street-food cart in Jacksonville needs help replacing a gas stove and two refrigerators after the demolition of the market.

For twelve years I have run a street-food cart in Jacksonville. In August, the demolition of the market took a gas stove and two refrigerators. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $3,250 goes:
• Replacing a gas stove and two refrigerators: $1,900
• Initial stock: ingredients: $390
• Shop repairs and licensing: $230
• Working capital for the first month: $730
If you're reading this, thank you.

Hope it all works out. Small businesses are the heart of Jacksonville. Hope you're open again soon. Love from Aurangabad.
sending strength, Zoey. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier
hang in there, Zoey. This could happen to any of us. I'm in nursing myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you
