Start-up fund for Wirat: reopening a tailoring shop after the demolition of the market
Wirat has run a tailoring shop for six years; the demolition of the market destroyed the equipment, and $450 will put it back on its feet.

For six years I have run a tailoring shop in Phuket. In March, the demolition of the market took three industrial sewing machines. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $450 goes:
• Initial stock: fabric and thread: $155
• Working capital for the first month: $175
• Shop repairs and licensing: $120
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Hope it all works out, Wirat. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
