Start-up fund for Werner: reopening a roadside café after a fire in the building
Werner lost an espresso machine and grinder to a fire in the building and needs $2,600 to reopen a roadside café and support the family.

For fifteen years I have run a roadside café in Dortmund. In May, a fire in the building took an espresso machine and grinder. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $2,600 goes:
• Replacing an espresso machine and grinder: $1,200
• Initial stock: coffee and pastries: $250
• Shop repairs and licensing: $480
• Working capital for the first month: $670
Thanks for being kind about this.

Sending love, Werner. Shared this with my family.
You're not alone. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I have a 7 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Greetings from Hanoi
