Start-up fund for Vihaan: reopening a tailoring shop after floodwater
Vihaan has run a tailoring shop for four years; floodwater destroyed the equipment, and $700 will put it back on its feet.

For four years I have run a tailoring shop in Nashik. In August, floodwater took three industrial sewing machines. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $700 goes:
• Replacing three industrial sewing machines: $490
• Initial stock: fabric and thread: $70
• Shop repairs and licensing: $80
• Working capital for the first month: $60
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Sending strength, Vihaan. Hope the shop reopens soon. We're a small family in Alcalá de Henares but we're thinking of you. Blessings.
