Start-up fund for Usman: reopening a laundry service after a storm that collapsed the roof
A laundry service in Peshawar needs help replacing two washing machines and a dryer after a storm that collapsed the roof.

For three years I have run a laundry service in Peshawar. In July, a storm that collapsed the roof took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $550 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $90
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $350
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $110
Thank you so much.

Hope things get better soon, Usman. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Put this on a community board in Casablanca this morning. Blessings.
thanks for sharing this, Usman. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. After 10 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
Wishing you peace, Usman. This could happen to any of us. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
take care, Usman. Hope you get there. God bless.
