Start-up fund for Solène: reopening a barbershop after a storm that collapsed the roof

Solène has run a barbershop for twelve years; a storm that collapsed the roof destroyed the equipment, and $2,450 will put it back on its feet.

Boulogne-Billancourt
For twelve years I have run a barbershop in Boulogne-Billancourt. In July, a storm that collapsed the roof took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go. Where the $2,450 goes: • Replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors: $1,050 • Initial stock: supplies: $280 • Shop repairs and licensing: $450 • Working capital for the first month: $670 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
