Start-up fund for Rosângela: reopening a phone repair counter after a break-in
A phone repair counter in Rio de Janeiro needs help replacing a soldering station and testing tools after a break-in.

For six years I have run a phone repair counter in Rio de Janeiro. In August, a break-in took a soldering station and testing tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $400 goes:
• Initial stock: replacement parts: $110
• Working capital for the first month: $95
• Shop repairs and licensing: $195
Thanks for reading all this.

Thinking of you, Rosângela. Hope this works out for you. Take care.
Sending strength. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Sent it to 17 people at work. Love from Saint-Denis.
