Start-up fund for Naresh: reopening a fish stall after a fire in the building
Naresh lost a freezer and scales to a fire in the building and needs $650 to reopen a fish stall and support the family.

For nine years I have run a fish stall in Kozhikode. In August, a fire in the building took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $650 goes:
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $420
• Initial stock: the first catch: $60
• Shop repairs and licensing: $65
• Working capital for the first month: $105
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I went through something like this 11 years ago and strangers helped me out. Greetings from Gaziantep
Rooting for you. Hope you get there. My neighbor in Bekasi donated after I showed her your page.
