Start-up fund for Muthoni: reopening a fish stall after a storm that collapsed the roof
Muthoni lost a freezer and scales to a storm that collapsed the roof and needs $600 to reopen a fish stall and support the family.

For twelve years I have run a fish stall in Kinondoni. In March, a storm that collapsed the roof took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $600 goes:
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $410
• Initial stock: the first catch: $55
• Shop repairs and licensing: $65
• Working capital for the first month: $70
Thank you so much.

Good luck. I hope things turn around soon. Please keep us posted. Love from Quetta.
Hang in there, Muthoni. Hope the shop reopens soon. My neighbor in Naples donated after I showed her your page. Blessings!
