Start-up fund for Masud: reopening a laundry service after a break-in
Masud has run a laundry service for three years; a break-in destroyed the equipment, and $400 will put it back on its feet.

For three years I have run a laundry service in Rajshahi. In July, a break-in took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $400 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $95
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $230
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $75
Every share and every dollar helps.

Small update. $100 so far, I made the first payment toward initial stock: detergent and packaging.
Thank you all. We're at 54% now ($215). I'm honestly stunned. we've booked the dates and paid the deposit.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($125 in total) we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely. - Masud
