Start-up fund for Lệ: reopening a small grocery stall after floodwater
Lệ has run a small grocery stall for twelve years; floodwater destroyed the equipment, and $300 will put it back on its feet.

For twelve years I have run a small grocery stall in Thủ Đức. In January, floodwater took a cold-storage unit. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $300 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $85
• Shop repairs and licensing: $40
• Replacing a cold-storage unit: $175
Every share and every dollar helps.

Sending good thoughts. Small businesses are the heart of Thủ Đức. Hope you're open again soon. I hope March is when things finally get easier.
