Start-up fund for Kingsley: reopening a flower stall after the demolition of the market
Kingsley lost display cabinets and a cooler to the demolition of the market and needs $250 to reopen a flower stall and support the family.

For four years I have run a flower stall in Ibadan. In November, the demolition of the market took display cabinets and a cooler. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $250 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $80
• Shop repairs and licensing: $50
• Initial stock: seasonal flowers: $120
Thanks for reading all this.

It takes guts to ask. Well done. Thinking of Ibadan.
I hope things turn around soon. I have a 15 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Take care
Keep going, Kingsley. Hope you make a strong comeback
You're not alone. Small businesses are the heart of Ibadan. Hope you're open again soon. My husband and I read this together. Blessings.
You're not alone. Shared this with my family. Thinking of Ibadan.
