Start-up fund for Issa: reopening a laundry service after floodwater
Issa lost two washing machines and a dryer to floodwater and needs $3,850 to reopen a laundry service and support the family.

For three years I have run a laundry service in Boulogne-Billancourt. In April, floodwater took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $3,850 goes:
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $2,750
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $420
• Shop repairs and licensing: $260
• Working capital for the first month: $420
With deep gratitude,
Issa

Stay strong, Issa. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes.
Looking forward to the next update. I went through something like this 7 years ago and strangers helped me out. Greetings from Birmingham.
Rooting for you. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 10 years in public service I know how hard it is to ask for anything. Thinking of Boulogne-Billancourt.
Praying for you, Issa. Shared it with a few friends. Greetings from Lahore
