Start-up fund for Isabelle: reopening a fish stall after a fire in the building
Isabelle lost a freezer and scales to a fire in the building and needs $4,550 to reopen a fish stall and support the family.

For nine years I have run a fish stall in Fort Worth. In July, a fire in the building took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $4,550 goes:
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $2,750
• Initial stock: the first catch: $970
• Shop repairs and licensing: $570
• Working capital for the first month: $260
Thank you for reading my story.

Thinking of you, Isabelle. Hope you get there. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
Hang in there. I hope things turn around soon. I hope October is when things finally get easier. God bless
Keep going, Isabelle. Hope the shop reopens soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Iztapalapa
