Start-up fund for Ignacio: reopening a roadside café after floodwater
A roadside café in Barcelona needs help replacing an espresso machine and grinder after floodwater.

For twelve years I have run a roadside café in Barcelona. In November, floodwater took an espresso machine and grinder. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 3 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $3,100 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $430
• Shop repairs and licensing: $500
• Replacing an espresso machine and grinder: $2,170
Glad we found this place.

good luck, Ignacio. Hope the shop reopens soon. I hope February is when things finally get easier
good luck, Ignacio. Shared this with my family. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from London.
Sending good thoughts, Ignacio. Looking forward to the next update. My neighbor in Buenos Aires donated after I showed her your page. All the best.
