Start-up fund for Heather: reopening a flower stall after a storm that collapsed the roof
Heather has run a flower stall for four years; a storm that collapsed the roof destroyed the equipment, and $1,900 will put it back on its feet.

For four years I have run a flower stall in Manchester. In August, a storm that collapsed the roof took display cabinets and a cooler. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $1,900 goes:
• Replacing display cabinets and a cooler: $780
• Initial stock: seasonal flowers: $430
• Shop repairs and licensing: $370
• Working capital for the first month: $320
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Praying for you. I hope things turn around soon. We're a small family in Buffalo but we're thinking of you.
Best of luck, Heather. Hope you make a strong comeback. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Thinking of Manchester
Sending good thoughts, Heather. This could happen to any of us. I went through something like this 11 years ago and strangers helped me out. All the best!
Keep going, Heather. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 6 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best
wishing you peace. Looking forward to the next update. Greetings from São Paulo.
