Start-up fund for Haritha: reopening a tailoring shop after a long illness and repossession
Haritha has run a tailoring shop for nine years; a long illness and repossession destroyed the equipment, and $750 will put it back on its feet.

For nine years I have run a tailoring shop in Noida. In August, a long illness and repossession took three industrial sewing machines. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $750 goes:
• Replacing three industrial sewing machines: $490
• Initial stock: fabric and thread: $105
• Shop repairs and licensing: $100
• Working capital for the first month: $55
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Sending good thoughts. Small businesses are the heart of Noida. Hope you're open again soon. God bless.
It takes guts to ask. Well done. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Braunschweig.
Stay strong, Haritha. It takes guts to ask. Well done. God bless
