Start-up fund for Hans: reopening a fish stall after a long illness and repossession
Hans has run a fish stall for six years; a long illness and repossession destroyed the equipment, and $1,700 will put it back on its feet.

For six years I have run a fish stall in Berlin. In July, a long illness and repossession took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $1,700 goes:
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $1,100
• Shop repairs and licensing: $230
• Working capital for the first month: $370
Every share and every dollar helps.

Hope you make a strong comeback. I'm in public service myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you
Hope this works out for you. I went through something like this 9 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Berlin.
Praying for you, Hans. This could happen to any of us. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of Berlin.
