Start-up fund for Gregory: reopening a small grocery stall after a break-in
A small grocery stall in Auckland needs help replacing a cold-storage unit after a break-in.
🇳🇿 New Zealand1,664 views
For three years I have run a small grocery stall in Auckland. In April, a break-in took a cold-storage unit. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $2,750 goes:
• Initial stock: fresh produce: $350
• Replacing a cold-storage unit: $1,900
• Shop repairs and licensing: $500
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Good luck. Hope the shop reopens soon. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Blessings.
Praying for you, Gregory. It takes guts to ask. Well done. All the best
sending good thoughts. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
Best of luck, Gregory. Shared it with a few friends. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. God bless
