Start-up fund for Gopal: reopening a street-food cart after the demolition of the market
Gopal has run a street-food cart for twelve years; the demolition of the market destroyed the equipment, and $700 will put it back on its feet.

For twelve years I have run a street-food cart in Noida. In August, the demolition of the market took a gas stove and two refrigerators. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $700 goes:
• Replacing a gas stove and two refrigerators: $360
• Initial stock: ingredients: $135
• Shop repairs and licensing: $100
• Working capital for the first month: $105
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
