Start-up fund for Eli: reopening a laundry service after a fire in the building
A laundry service in El Paso needs help replacing two washing machines and a dryer after a fire in the building.

For three years I have run a laundry service in El Paso. In January, a fire in the building took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $3,850 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $850
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $620
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $2,380
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Sending strength, Eli. Hope this works out for you. All the best
Rooting for you, Eli. Small businesses are the heart of El Paso. Hope you're open again soon. I went through something like this 13 years ago and strangers helped me out.
Sending strength, Eli. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier
Thanks for sharing this, Eli. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. God bless!
