Start-up fund for Dipu: reopening a small grocery stall after a long illness and repossession
Dipu lost a cold-storage unit to a long illness and repossession and needs $350 to reopen a small grocery stall and support the family.

For six years I have run a small grocery stall in Comilla. In September, a long illness and repossession took a cold-storage unit. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $350 goes:
• Replacing a cold-storage unit: $145
• Initial stock: fresh produce: $55
• Shop repairs and licensing: $60
• Working capital for the first month: $90
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

47% there. I made the first payment toward replacing a cold-storage unit. Thank you.
Thank you all. We're at 30% now ($105). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward replacing a cold-storage unit.

You're not alone, Dipu. Shared it with a few friends. Greetings from Monterrey
looking forward to the next update. After 6 years in accounting I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Take care
