Start-up fund for Denis: reopening a neighborhood bakery after a storm that collapsed the roof
Denis lost a commercial oven to a storm that collapsed the roof and needs $700 to reopen a neighborhood bakery and support the family.

For three years I have run a neighborhood bakery in Zaporizhzhia. In July, a storm that collapsed the roof took a commercial oven. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $700 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $60
• Replacing a commercial oven: $480
• Working capital for the first month: $160
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Updates from Denis
Good news. Because of your gifts ($205 in total) we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
Wanted to say thank you properly. 22% funded and I made the first payment toward replacing a commercial oven.
