Start-up fund for Deepak: reopening a roadside café after a storm that collapsed the roof
A roadside café in Kathmandu needs help replacing an espresso machine and grinder after a storm that collapsed the roof.

For fifteen years I have run a roadside café in Kathmandu. In August, a storm that collapsed the roof took an espresso machine and grinder. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $550 goes:
• Replacing an espresso machine and grinder: $340
• Initial stock: coffee and pastries: $50
• Shop repairs and licensing: $95
• Working capital for the first month: $65
Every share and every dollar helps.

Hope things get better soon, Deepak. Shared this with my family. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Greetings from Busan
Hope it all works out. Hope the shop reopens soon. I went through something like this 5 years ago and strangers helped me out.
Wishing you peace, Deepak. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes.
