Start-up fund for Danish: reopening a sewing studio after a break-in
Danish has run a sewing studio for six years; a break-in destroyed the equipment, and $300 will put it back on its feet.

For six years I have run a sewing studio in Lahore. In June, a break-in took a cutting table and overlocker. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $300 goes:
• Replacing a cutting table and overlocker: $160
• Initial stock: fabric: $40
• Shop repairs and licensing: $40
• Working capital for the first month: $60
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Thanks for sharing this. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. It's not much but it's yours. Greetings from Envigado.
Take care. Hope you get there. After 23 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything
shared this with my family. Put this on a community board in Warsaw this morning. Blessings.
