Start-up fund for Daniel: reopening a laundry service after a long illness and repossession
Daniel has run a laundry service for nine years; a long illness and repossession destroyed the equipment, and $1,200 will put it back on its feet.

For nine years I have run a laundry service in Puebla. In October, a long illness and repossession took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $1,200 goes:
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $640
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $125
• Shop repairs and licensing: $190
• Working capital for the first month: $245
Thanks for reading all this.

Sending love. I hope things turn around soon. I'll check back for the next update. Take care.
You're not alone, Daniel. It takes guts to ask. Well done
Good luck. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I have a 12 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
Praying for you, Daniel. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Sent it to 19 people at work. God bless.
