Start-up fund for Cris: reopening a barbershop after the demolition of the market
A barbershop in Makati needs help replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors after the demolition of the market.

For six years I have run a barbershop in Makati. In July, the demolition of the market took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $400 goes:
• Replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors: $210
• Initial stock: supplies: $75
• Shop repairs and licensing: $60
• Working capital for the first month: $55
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Praying for you, Cris. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I have a 14 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Greetings from Dublin
Take care. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from Seoul.
Hope you make a strong comeback. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Love from Lahore
