Start-up fund for Ayesha: reopening a laundry service after the demolition of the market
Ayesha lost two washing machines and a dryer to the demolition of the market and needs $600 to reopen a laundry service and support the family.

For three years I have run a laundry service in Nagpur. In February, the demolition of the market took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $600 goes:
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $380
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $60
• Shop repairs and licensing: $100
• Working capital for the first month: $60
I hope life is good to you.

you're not alone, Ayesha. Looking forward to the next update. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Kraków
