Start-up fund for Armando: reopening a small grocery stall after a storm that collapsed the roof
A small grocery stall in Tarragona needs help replacing a cold-storage unit after a storm that collapsed the roof.

For three years I have run a small grocery stall in Tarragona. In July, a storm that collapsed the roof took a cold-storage unit. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 3 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $3,300 goes:
• Replacing a cold-storage unit: $2,000
• Initial stock: fresh produce: $410
• Shop repairs and licensing: $400
• Working capital for the first month: $490
If you're reading this, thank you.

I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We're a small family in Málaga but we're thinking of you. All the best.
Wishing you the best, Armando. Small businesses are the heart of Tarragona. Hope you're open again soon. All the best
Best of luck. Hope you make a strong comeback. My husband and I read this together. Take care.
