Start-up fund for Apurva: reopening a phone repair counter after a long illness and repossession
Apurva has run a phone repair counter for four years; a long illness and repossession destroyed the equipment, and $250 will put it back on its feet.

For four years I have run a phone repair counter in Coimbatore. In August, a long illness and repossession took a soldering station and testing tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $250 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $35
• Initial stock: replacement parts: $100
• Working capital for the first month: $115
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Good news. Because of your gifts ($133 in total) I made the first payment toward working capital for the first month. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
