Chae-won, my sister, passed away on 15 September after a road accident. She was 67 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,550 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 4 October. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Chae-won to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program. Where the $4,550 goes: • Transport of the deceased: $550 • Memorial gathering for the family: $220 • Funeral home services and casket: $3,780 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
