Start-up fund for Anwar: reopening a neighborhood bakery after a storm that collapsed the roof
Anwar has run a neighborhood bakery for twelve years; a storm that collapsed the roof destroyed the equipment, and $950 will put it back on its feet.

For twelve years I have run a neighborhood bakery in Mecca. In July, a storm that collapsed the roof took a commercial oven. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $950 goes:
• Initial stock: flour, butter and sugar: $480
• Working capital for the first month: $300
• Shop repairs and licensing: $170
With deep gratitude,
Anwar

Rooting for you, Anwar. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Wish I lived closer to Nashik so I could bring a meal.
