Start-up fund for Antonio: reopening a small grocery stall after a storm that collapsed the roof
Antonio lost a cold-storage unit to a storm that collapsed the roof and needs $2,800 to reopen a small grocery stall and support the family.

For nine years I have run a small grocery stall in Latina. In May, a storm that collapsed the roof took a cold-storage unit. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $2,800 goes:
• Initial stock: fresh produce: $540
• Replacing a cold-storage unit: $1,800
• Shop repairs and licensing: $460

Wishing you peace, Antonio. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Please keep us posted. Love from Kasarani.
Best of luck, Antonio. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes.
Hope things get better soon, Antonio. Your post was clear and honest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Auckland
