Start-up fund for Anton: reopening a fish stall after floodwater
Anton lost a freezer and scales to floodwater and needs $350 to reopen a fish stall and support the family.

For three years I have run a fish stall in Kyiv. In February, floodwater took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $350 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $55
• Shop repairs and licensing: $75
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $220
Glad we found this place.

Is there anything that isn't money that would help Anton?
Thank you. If you're in Kyiv I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. I'll keep the page updated.
Wishing you the best, Anton. Shared it with a few friends. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Love from Tiruchirappalli.
Hope it all works out. Hope you get there. My husband and I read this together. Greetings from Jakarta
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Wish I lived closer to Durham so I could bring a meal
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Anton.
Working capital for the first month is $55 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Ask me anything else.
Hope things get better soon, Anton. This could happen to any of us. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
best of luck, Anton. Hope this works out for you.
your post was clear and honest. Sent it to 27 people at work

Gave what I could, wish it was more. Love from Guadalupe
