Standing with Wesley: kidney cancer treatment costs
Wesley is facing kidney cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Wesley was diagnosed with kidney cancer in August. The oncology team at the Rochester Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Wesley is 46, worked as a construction supervisor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Rochester Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,750
• Scans and lab work: $1,550
• Transport to the Rochester Oncology Institute: $470
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $350
